I got a buddy about 60 miles away from me who was gonna drive over so I could weld a muffler on for him, but had his local Meineke shop do it for $40. I can't believe shops are gonna charge you that kinda money for a simple cut/weld job. I don't do the prettiest welds in the world, but it don't leak and it ain't going anywhere, LOL. But the whole thing still didn't take me an hour. I did have to goto the auto parts store and buy a 12' adapter and cut it to 7' as the CB is shorter. I just removed the Flowmaster off my truck and welded on a Cherry Bomb in the driveway this past spring. I'll weld it on for you for a 12 pack of Bud.
